2. Why do you need to do an analysis before activating my account?

This is your opportunity to let us know what your special needs and requirements are. We’ll make sure we do it right, meet your expectations and provide you with overall savings in office products and supplies.

3. How can I get training on StaplesLink.com?

Once you are able to log on to StaplesLink.com, there is an online tutorial located just under the Home link, under the Customer Service tab and in Help. The tutorial will open in a separate window and can be viewed in sections.

If you are unable to view the tour, you may not have Adobe Flash player installed on your computer. This is a free download on Adobe’s Web site.

4. When can I expect delivery of my order?

All orders received by 3:00 pm will be processed on the day of receipt. In-stock merchandise is typically delivered the next business day. You can view the expected delivery date of a particular product by entering the item number in the Quick Order box on the Home Page, entering the quantity required and clicking Delivery Date. The expected delivery date for the specified quantity will be displayed.

5. How do I cancel/change/modify my order?

Your order can be changed or cancelled anytime before it is "Transmitted for Fulfillment." Once Staples receives the order, it's sent immediately to our Distribution and Delivery network for packing and delivery.

6. What is Staples’ Returns Policy?

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with a product purchased from Staples, you may return it within the applicable time frame. The product must be returned to Staples with its complete and original packaging intact (original UPC code, packaging materials, instructions, manuals, etc.). A restocking fee may apply. Your account will be credited when returned merchandise is received back into inventory.

7. How can I return or exchange products?

To return an item that you ordered, please do the following within 30 days of delivery to ensure that you receive proper credit.

  1. On the My Order Status page, locate the order number you wish to place a return against.
  2. Click the Returns link to view the online Returns form.
  3. Complete the Returns form and click Submit. You will receive a confirmation notice and it will automatically issue a Returns authorization to arrange for a pickup of the product. Print the confirmation page and enclose it in each box that you return.
  4. Write "Staples Return" on each carton.

To exchange an item, call your Customer Service Team to request a return authorization and to order another item. They will arrange to pick up the item and ship out your replacement.

8. Can I get the same Contract prices at any Staples® retail store?

Yes, through a Staples Convenience Card that ties back to your contract pricing. This can be handled by contacting your dedicated account manager once your account is activated.

9. If we decide we don’t like the program, can we stop using it without penalties?

Yes, there is no obligation to use this contract.

We have some of the largest and most efficient distribution centers in the country including one in the Northwest to handle your needs. There’s very little we can’t do and we would love to have the opportunity to meet in person to answer any questions or concerns you might have about capabilities.

11. We buy in bulk for next day delivery and have three different buildings on campus that require deliveries. Do you have the ability to handle larger orders with deliveries to multiple locations?

Yes. Part of our implementation and analysis is how you receive products. If you have multiple delivery locations, we will provide specific instructions or have your driver meet with you prior to our “go live” date to become familiar with your requirements.
